  Annual Giving Section - Gifts Tab on Donor/Prospect Record

On a Donor/Prospect record, on the Gifts tab, you can see Gifts and Gift Payments related to this Donor, as well as high-level Donor statistics, such as Total Commitment, Most Recent Gift Date, First Gift Date, etc. 

Additionally, there is an Annual Giving section on this tab which includes fields Total Giving fields:

These fields are updated via programming and sum related Gift Payments for this Donor. Because they are updated automatically, they are locked and cannot be edited.

Though these fields update in real time, you can force an update by clicking Refresh Annual Giving Statistics button at any time. 

These totals sum Gift Payments with a Payment Status of Received, Deposited, or History based on the calendar year of the Posting Date. 

These totals include:

• Imported Gift Payments (Payment Status = History)
• Payments Sent to Accounting and not yet deposited (Payment Status = Received)
• Payments Sent to Accounting and deposited (Payment Status = Deposited)
