CREATE A TWILIO ACCOUNT

 

Twilio provides programmable communication tools for making and receiving phone calls, sending and receiving text messages, and performing other communication functions. You need a twilio account to send and receive text messages with akoyaGO.

 

Create your Twilio account here: https://www.twilio.com/try-twilio

 

Follow Twilio’s instructions to validate your email and phone number.

 

Complete the Twilio new account onboarding, click Get Started with Twilio

Get your testing SMS number, click Get phone number

Make note of your Account Info, you will need all three pieces of this information: Account SID, Auth Token, My Twilio phone number 

POWER AUTOMATE

 

Go to https://make.powerautomate.com and find the cloud flow.

 

Add a new step and search for Twilio and choose the “Send Text Message (SMS)” option.

Connect your Twilio action to your Twilio account using the previous information from your Twilio account. Twilio Account Id = Account SID and Twilio Access Token = Auth Token

To complete the Send Text Message (SMS) step, supply the phone number from your Twilio account,

the To Phone Number to send the message to, and the text of the message.
