How to Duplicate GOapply Opportunities and Phases
Duplicate Opportunity Using Button
1. From the GOapply area, click on the GOapply Opportunities table. Choose the Opportunity you want to copy.

2. Click Duplicate from the top navigation bar. This will copy the Opportunity and all related Phases:
3. You will receive a notification that the Opportunity is being copied:
4. Followed by a notification that the copy is complete. Click View Record to open the new Opportunity:
Alternately, you can also access the new Opportunity by navigating to the Opportunities tab and opening the new record directly from a view. It would be the GOapply Opportunity with the most recent GOapply ID # and most recent created by date. This would normally appear at the bottom of the Active GOapply Opportunities view and will be titled identically to your original Opportunity.
Copy JSON File Only - Phase Specific
If you are building several similar phases, you may want to only copy what was built for a specific phase, as opposed to an entire Opportunity. This is particularly helpful if you are setting up several applications, reporting phases, etc. within different Opportunities, but they share many of the same questions and mapping.
Within a Phase record, there is a field called Form Definition. This is auto-populated with a JSON file that holds all questions/mapping that are built within the GOmanager Form Editor. For this section of the Knowledge Article, we will use the following example:
A Reporting Phase has been built for the Capital Building Grant Opportunity. The Programmatic Grant Opportunity has a very similar Reporting Phase that needs to be created. The Programmatic Grant Report contains almost all of the same questions and mapping as the Capital Building Grant Report. Instead of starting from scratch for the Programmatic Grant Report, we will copy what has already been built from the Capital Building Grant Opportunity and only need to make a few small edits.
1. From the GOapply area, click on the GOapply Opportunities table. Choose the Opportunity you want to copy. In this case, it would be the Capital Building Grant.
2. Open Phases in this Opportunity and select the Phase you want to copy. In this scenario, we would choose the Reporting Phase.
3. From within the Phase, click on the hyperlink next to Form Definition. This will save the JSON file to your downloads. Remember, this file holds everything that has been built for this specific Phase.

4. Open the Opportunity that contains the Phase you would like to use this JSON file within. In this example, I would choose the Programmatic Grant Opportunity.
5. From within the new Phase (Programmatic Grant Opportunity - Reporting Phase) click the Choose File button next to the Form Definition field. Select the form definition file you saved in the previous step (the one from the Capital Building Opportunity in our example.)

10. Click on Save. You can now make any needed edits/changes in your new Phase, as you have uploaded the Form Definition from another existing Phase.
