Creating a Gifts to be Auto-Created CRM Process Workflow with a Workflow Template

1. All akoyaGO clients will have the “Gifts to be Auto-Created” Process saved in their system. To activate or customize the flow to fit your needs, you will need to navigate to this process to turn it on. You will only need to follow these steps one time.

2. Open make.powerapps.com (System Customizer permissions are required). Changes should be made in the [Foundation Name] akoyaGO Power Apps Environment and in the custom client solution if applicable.

3. Navigate to Processes and search "Auto-Create next Gift." You can edit this process and then activate this Process in order to use.

Entering a Gift to be Repeated

Once you have activated the CRM Process, you can begin entering gifts to be repeated. This type of gift can be entered for donors who regularly give the same amount bi-weekly, monthly, semi-monthly, or quarterly. The gift and gift payment will be automatically created based on the recurrence you choose.

1. Go to the Donor Management workspace and choose the Donors & Prospects entity.

2. Search for the Donor who will be giving the gift to be repeated.

3. Open the Donor record.

4. Go to the Gifts tab.

5. Choose + New Gift. This will open the Gift Quick Create Form.

6. Enter all Gift information. In the Payment Details section, you can set Auto-Create Next Gift. Future Gifts and Gift Payments will be created based on the recurrence you select. Save and Close.

7. To stop the future gifts from being auto-created, set the Auto-Create Next Gift on the last gift created back to "None."
