Release Notes: June 20, 2024

 

akoyaGO release notes give all users information about bug fixes and enhancements in the current release. This document describes all changes as of 06/20/2024. Documentation will be updated or added to reflect these changes. If you have questions, please contact your account manager or akoyaGO Support. Please be aware that you may need to refresh your browser, clear your browser cache, or log out/log back in to see the following changes. 

 

akoyaGO

  • Bug Fixes
    • We have fixed a bug in which GOverify was returning blank IRS/CRA Details on verified nonprofit organizations.
    • Users were encountering intermittent script errors when trying to create request payments due to timeout issues. This has been fixed.
    • We have fixed a bug in which team users were getting permission errors when trying to create Contacts or Constituents.
       
  • Enhancements
    • An additional field called Deceased Date has been added to Contact records. When populated, the user will be prompted to deactivate the Contact.
    • Zip code autofill functionality (when zip code contains data, City, State, and County autofill) has been added to Alternate Address fields.
    • Scholarships now have a section called FetchXML Criteria Builder. This feature will support future Scholarship Automatching functionality. 
    • We have added a system view to Requested Scholarships called GOapply Matched Scholarships Datasource. This view will support future Scholarship Automatching functionality.

 

akoyaGO with Accounting 

  • Bug Fixes
    • General
      • We have fixed a bug in which GOverify was returning blank IRS/CRA Details on verified nonprofit organizations.
      • An additional field called Deceased Date has been added to Contact records. When populated, the user will be prompted to deactivate the Contact.
      • Zip code autofill functionality (when zip code contains data, City, State, and County autofill) has been added to Alternate Address fields.
    • Grants Management
      • Users were encountering intermittent script errors when trying to create request payments due to timeout issues. This has been fixed.
    • Donor Management
      • We have fixed a bug in which the default pledge receivable account (as defined in Accounting Settings) was not populating when Gift Type = Pledge on the gift quick create form.
      • We have fixed a bug in which the Donor Address to Use on Donor records was not updating when the Primary Contact address changed due to the Alternate Address activity.
      • Users were encountering intermittent script errors when trying to create gift payments due to timeout issues. This has been fixed.
      • In certain scenarios, gifts with multiple payments were telling users that the payments did not total the commitment. We have improved rounding to mitigate this.
    • ​​​​​​​Tools Workspace
      • We have enabled auditing for Fund Fund Fee formula and Spendable Allotment formula.
  • Enhancements
    • Grants Management
      • Scholarships now have a section called FetchXML Criteria Builder. This feature will support future Scholarship Automatching functionality. 
      • We have added a system view to Requested Scholarships called GOapply Matched Scholarships Datasource. This view will support future Scholarship Automatching functionality.
      • Interfund Request Payments and Interfund Gift Payments are now prohibited from being individually sent to accounting. This action would duplicate actions already done when the Interfund Grant record is sent to accounting.
      • We have created a new system view called GOfund Pending Requests (Interfunds) that will display all Interfund Grant records that have not been sent to accounting where the source = GOfund or null, or the GOfund Recommender field contains data.
    • Donor Management 
      • When a Donor record is deactivated, users will now be prompted to deactivate the related Constituent and/or Contact records. 
      • Gift quick create logic has been changed so that when entering gifts for anonymous donors, when Donor Anonymity = No on the quick create form, Formal Acknowledgement will be filled in with the Formal Acknowledgement from the Donor record.       • Auditing has been enabled on Connection Roles and can be viewed in the Audit Summary View in Advanced Settings. Please see the Accessing Audit History for Connection Roles knowledge article for more information.
    • Fund Management 
      • An additional field called Revenue Fund has been added to the Fund Fee Formula form. When populated, this will be the fund that receives the revenue when the Fund Fee Assessment is run. Please see the Fund Fee Formula knowledge article for more information.
      • Users are no longer able to update the Fund Type, Fund Class or Endowed attributes after they are assigned in the Fund record. This is in line with akoyaGO best practices which indicate that a fund's type, class, and endowed status should not be changed. If the need arises to change a fund's type, class or endowed status, a new fund should be established.

 

Business Central

  • Bug Fixes
    • We have fixed a bug in which users were experiencing an error when trying to post a deposit when Post as Lump Sum was on in the deposit form.
    • We have fixed a bug in which users were unable to post deposits that included a negative credit value when the deposit also included non-negative values. 
    • We have fixed a bug in which edits to fund statement formats were creating duplicates of the fund statement format.
    • We have fixed a bug in which corrected purchase invoices were not clearing the payable fund, causing the invoice to be out of balance and triggering Autobalance to run.
    • Business Central users will no longer be allowed to use "&" in the Bank Account code. As a best practice, please remove the "&" from any bank account codes that contain it. If you have bank account codes that contain special characters (i.e. not letters A-Z and/or numbers 0-9), please remove those.
  • Enhancements
    • Non-super users can no longer make changes to the Function and Fund-Dept. Analysis views.

 

GOapply

  • Bug Fixes
    • We have fixed a bug in which, when using the native numbering feature in rich text editor fields in the Opportunity settings (summary and description, for example), the numbers would each be labeled 1. in the PDF when the user chooses Print Blank.
    • We have fixed a bug in which the GOapply – Create All Requirements workflow was creating extra status tracking and requirement records.
    • We have fixed a bug in which the Impersonate button was not working in the akoyaGO (without accounting) app.
    • We have removed the ‘Preview’ functionality from GOapply Form builder, including the ‘Show preview before complete’ field from the Navigation section of the Form properties because this functionality was not supported.
    • We have fixed a bug in which hyphens and dash-style bullet points were causing PDF rendering issues.
    • We have fixed a bug in which the pancake stack (main menu) was unresponsive in GOapply for mobile devices.
    • We have fixed a bug in which read-only matrixes with default values were printing as empty when users chose Print Blank.
       
  • Enhancements
    • Three new fields have been added to GOapply Settings called Registration Page Text, Organization Registration Page Text, and Individual Registration Page Text. These are optional rich text editor fields that give you the opportunity to display information during GOapply user registration. Please see the GOapply Admin Guide for more information.
    • The GOapply Duplicate Application flow has been converted into a command bar button on GOapply Opportunity. Please see the GOapply Admin Guide for more information.
    • We have enhanced the Submissions view in GOapply by making the View command a button rather than a hyperlink and adding a button that says Download rather than the download symbol.
    • For organizations utilizing multiple GOapply sites, we have added functionality that allows GOapply users to log in to all sites even if they have only created an account on one site. Please see the Setting Up Multiple GOapply Sites knowledge article for more information.
    • We have added password length validation to the registration process. Please see the GOapply Admin Guide for more information.
    • In an effort to improve submission accuracy, we have created new fields in CRM. These fields will collect the submission date and time in the User's local time rather than UTC time to reflect the actual date/time of submissions. The new fields necessitate the deprecation of the old fields. For the time being, the old fields will exist and will be demarcated with “(dep.)”.
      • On Request - Request Received DateTime (Process tab) and Submit Date (Internal Information tab)
      • On Payment or Requirement - Requirement Received DateTime
      • Status Tracking – Most Recent Submission DateTime

 

GOapply Reviewer

  • Bug Fixes
    • We have fixed a bug in which the Submitted PDF was not rendering on Android devices.
    • We have fixed a bug in which the Submitted PDF was not scrollable on Mac devices.
    • We have fixed a bug in which Requests statuses were not changing to 'in review' once the application was assigned to a Review Group.
       
  • Enhancements
    • GOapply Admins are now able to add users to review groups in bulk with the push of a button. In the GOapply Users view, we have added a button called Add to Review Group. See the GOapply Reviewer Admin guide for more information.

 

GOfund

  • Bug Fixes
    • We have fixed a bug in which password reset activities were not setting the Contact as the Regarding in the GOfund log record.
    • We have fixed a bug in which user impersonation was not working in the Safari browser on mobile devices.
       
  • Enhancements
    • We have enhanced the experience surrounding Interfund Grant Recommendations so that Interfund Grant Recommendations will immediately reduce the fund’s spendable amount. Please see the GOfund Admin Guide for more information. 
    • We have removed the Pending amount box from the Fund Summary page as it has been rendered obsolete since the Spendable amount now updates immediately. 

 

GOdonate

  • Bug Fixes
    • We have fixed a bug in which Funds, where GOdonate Enabled = null, were still appearing in the list of funds to donate to in GOdonate. Funds where GOdonate Enable = null will not appear in GOdonate.
