Launching and connecting to akoyaGO with Power BI Desktop
 

 

Prerequisites

 

  Install Power BI Desktop

 

1. To download Power BI Desktop, go to the Power BI Desktop download page and select Download Free. Or for download options, select See download or language options.


You can also download Power BI Desktop from the Power BI service. Select the Download icon in the top menu bar, and then select Power BI Desktop.

  Launch Power BI Desktop, and Sign In Using your Microsoft Credentials

1. When PowerBI opens, close the popup using the X button.

2. On the header, click "Dataverse".

3. You may need to sign in again. If so continue, and use your same account.

4. Press the Green Connect Button.

5. You should see just one or two URLs. Find your akoyaGO URL, i.e yourfoundation.crm.dynamics.com.

6. Hit the downward arrow next to your URL.

7. For the demonstration, we are going to use three tables. Check off account (Constituent).

8. Check akoya_request (Request).

10. Check Contact.

11. After the three tables are selected, hit Load.

12. Change the radial option to "DirectQuery" and hit OK. You should see yours.
