akoyaGO release notes give all users information about bug fixes and enhancements in the current release. This document describes all changes as of 4/30/2026. Documentation has been updated or created to reflect these changes.
This release brings a focused set of updates across akoyaGO, GOdonate, and GOfund workflows, alongside improvements to GOapply and GOmanager. The goal: reduce friction for day-to-day foundation operations, make donation and scholarship experiences clearer, and prevent the small errors that create big rework.

akoyaGO · New Feature
Conditional logic in letter templates |
Add if/then logic directly in your Word templates
Letter templates in akoyaGO can now adjust their content automatically based on the information you enter. The result is more accurate, consistent communication without manually editing templates each time.
Conditional logic is especially useful when foundations need different wording depending on a recipient's details, program type, eligibility status, or other conditions.

akoyaGO with Accounting
Interfund & accounting integrity |
General Ledger lines for interfund transfers
Interfund transfer postings in Business Central now generate exactly two G/L lines, correcting prior behavior that produced extra lines.
No premature interfund records
Related Request, Gift, and Payment records are no longer created until the user clicks Send to Accounting. Record creation is now tied directly to that action.
Older interfund workflows retired
Older interfund creation and reversal workflows are being deprecated and turned off, aligning all users with the newer process. Specific Convert, Create, Send, and Update workflows are now labeled Deprecated and disabled in the solution.
Updated conversion workflow
The Convert to Interfund workflow now aligns with the newer process and no longer attempts to create child records too early.

akoyaGO with Accounting
Interfund grant adjustments & voids |
Void and adjust interfund grants with correct GL behavior
For interfund grants with valid payment statuses, users can now perform reversals (void) or adjustments — and the accounting follows correctly.
Locked records after Send to Accounting
Interfund grant records that already contain a payment status are now locked from modification — fields become read-only after the record is sent or reversed.

akoyaGO · GOverify
Block GOverify runs on exempt records |
Clear alerts for exempt records
Users now see a clear banner-style alert when they try to run GOverify on records marked as GOverify Exempt. The action is blocked with a straightforward message.

GOapply · Major Feature Update
Organization Profile, reimagined |
Applicant Panels now pull from the saved profile
When an Applicant Panel loads, the application now automatically pulls in the most current Organization Profile information. Users no longer need to re-enter organization details that already exist in the system, eliminating duplication and mismatches.
Validation has also been strengthened at the moments that matter most:
Manage profiles outside an application
Authorized organization users can now update the Organization Profile at any time, independent of a specific application or grant cycle. Organization details stay current without waiting for — or depending on — an active application to make changes.
Automatic Applicant Panel mapping
For applicant forms using the Organization Profile flow, Applicant Panel mappings are now handled automatically.
Submission-time re-check
Before submission on organization-data-required flows, the system re-verifies that the user still has a valid Parent Constituent and a valid Organization Profile associated with the Applicant Panel and organization context.
If anything has changed since the form was started — such as an organization profile becoming incomplete or a context becoming invalid — submission is blocked with a clear error message instructing the user to fix the Organization Profile issue first.
Pending change requests don't block applications
If the Organization Profile has a pending change request, a disclaimer banner appears on the Organization Profile and related pages to communicate that changes are under review.
PDFs follow per-phase rules — and protect anonymous reviewers
PDF behavior regarding Organization Profile content is now controlled by per-phase settings. The current Organization Profile may be appended as the first page, the last page, or not appended at all — and PDFs will never include Organization Profile content for anonymous reviewers.

GOapply
Usability & reliability fixes |
Review portal PDFs work in Safari
GOapply reviewers using Safari can now reliably view review PDFs in the review portal. The blank or black screen issue on Safari is resolved.
Scholarship automatch reopen behavior
When a scholarship automatch application is reopened, previously selected scholarships now stay selected.
Reviewer PDF header and template fixes
HTML editor numbered lists render correctly
Numbered lists created in the HTML editor now keep numbering and content on the same line, rather than inserting an unintended line break. Instruction text appears correctly to applicants.

GOapply · Form Builder
Form authoring reliability |
No more lost question names or mapping overwrites
When questions are added inside panels in the Simple Form Builder, they now receive unique question names by default. Questions inside panels no longer overwrite each other when submitted.
Currency branching logic works correctly
Currency questions used in branching logic no longer get an unintended period appended to the question name. Branching logic now evaluates against the original question name, so logic triggers correctly and applicants don't get the wrong form behavior.
valueName attribute deprecated in advanced form editor
For GOmanager form editors covered by this update, the question-level valueName is no longer shown or set via the form builder UI.
valueName property can't be set using the editor UI
valueName, reopening may remove it from the saved definition

GOapply & GOmanager
Data accuracy fixes |
Lock all address fields for existing constituents
When a GOapply user registers by selecting an existing constituent, all address fields are now locked — including Country, which previously remained editable. Prevents accidental changes and inconsistent address data.
Number-field step rules prevent invalid decimals
Simple Form Builder and mapped scholarship panel number fields now enforce correct Step behavior. Integer-mapped fields restrict whole-number responses, and decimal-mapped fields enforce the appropriate decimal increment. Prevents mapping errors caused by invalid user input.
eGrant.net attachments tab removed from requests
The eGrant.net Attachments tab is no longer shown on Requests, avoiding confusion when users expected eGrant-related content.

GOfund · UI & Operations
A cleaner fund advisor experience |
Reduce clutter on the GOfund home page
The GOfund home page can now be simplified by optionally removing the Grant Recommendation and Grant History boxes. A configuration option hides those home page elements while keeping navigation access — fewer distractions for fund advisors and fewer questions about which option is "better."
Easier-to-confirm grant recommendations
Several improvements to clarity and usability within grant recommendation flows.
Optional off-switch for one-time donation confirmation emails
Foundations can now suppress automated one-time donation confirmation emails for GOdonate and GOfund.
DisableAutomatedConfirmationEmail setting exists on GOdonate settings
Friendlier GOfund error experiences
GOfund error pages have been redesigned to be more user-friendly for external users.

GOdonate · Donation & Checkout
A more guided checkout |
Edit checkout details with guided inputs
On the donation checkout page, users can now edit key donation details more safely and consistently.
Hide designated purpose when disabled
If the foundation has disabled Enable Designated Giving in GOdonate settings, the Designated Purpose column no longer appears on the transaction review page before checkout. The checkout page now matches configured options and avoids confusion.
Show recurring gift start and end dates
Recurring gifts now clearly show both start and end dates on the GOdonate checkout experience. Donors and staff can confirm schedule details before completing the gift.
Weekly recurring gift options removed
Weekly recurrence is no longer available when creating or editing recurring gifts in GOdonate.
Cart and basket capacity updates
The shopping cart and basket experience has been improved to better support multiple donations.
Improved donation and fund catalog browsing
Donors can more easily find and compare funds. Funds can be listed in an order that supports easier browsing, and fund catalog ordering can be changed (for example, to reflect fundholder name lookup expectations). Smoother discovery means fewer support requests and helps donors select the right fund.
Documentation has been updated or created to reflect these changes. For questions, contact your account manager or akoyaGO Support.
