  • Currently paying by paper check? Contact your Account Manager to begin the transition.

At akoyaGO, we're continually investing in improvements that enhance the client experience while ensuring our operations remain secure, efficient, and scalable as we continue to grow. As part of that commitment, effective January 1, 2027, akoyaGO will transition to electronic-only payment processing.

Beginning with invoices issued for January 2027 and thereafter, accepted payment methods will include:
  • ACH (Electronic Funds Transfer)
  • ACH Ongoing Autopay

Payment by paper check will no longer be accepted after December 31, 2026.

We're announcing this change well in advance to provide organizations that currently pay by paper check with ample time to transition before the effective date.

Why We're Making This Change
Electronic payment processing has become the standard method for managing invoices across modern subscription-based software providers. This transition enables akoyaGO to continue delivering secure, efficient, and reliable billing operations while providing a more streamlined client experience.

Moving to electronic payments will allow us to:
  • Strengthen payment security and reduce the risks associated with paper checks.
  • Improve the efficiency and reliability of invoice processing and payment application.
  • Streamline recurring billing operations.
  • Enhance business continuity by reducing dependence on manual, paper-based processes.
  • Continue modernizing the services and experience we provide.

The good news is that many of our clients already pay electronically today, and akoyaGO offers multiple fee-free electronic payment options.

What Isn't Changing?
While the way payments are made will evolve, there will be no changes to:
  • Your billing frequency
  • Your invoice format and content
  • Your Account Manager or primary point of contact
  • Existing ACH Ongoing Autopay arrangements (for clients already enrolled)

Looking Ahead: A New Invoice Portal

Separate from our transition to electronic payments, we're also excited to be developing a new online invoice portal, targeted for launch on January 1, 2027.

With the initial release, clients will receive an email notification when a new invoice is available, along with a secure link to view and download both current and historical invoices through the portal. This will replace our current practice of sending invoice PDFs as email attachments and provide a more convenient, centralized way to access your invoices whenever you need them. The initial release of the portal is intended to simplify invoice delivery and document access. Online payment functionality will not be included in Phase I, although we may evaluate additional enhancements in the future.

We'll share additional details and previews of the new invoice portal as we get closer to launch.
